Dr. Briony Scott specialises in researching educational outcomes for girls, motivational theory and educational technology. Briony has spoken at numerous educational forums and community conferences. She has also been published in the International Journal for Educational Law and Policy, and writes regular articles on education, parenting and technology.

Dr. Jennie Bickmore-Brand

Educational Consultant

Jennie has had a long history of influence in the Education sector, having taught in education in both South Australian and West Australian universities. Jennie's masters research developed a set of Teaching and Learning Principles adopted in WA schools in the Stepping Out program. Her PhD findings and publications have influenced the teaching of maths across all age groups. As President for two terms of the Australian Council for Adult Literacy, Jennie spans the gamut of teaching and learning contexts and is well placed to promote the best practice in the development of leaders in educational settings.


Stephen Harris

Principal, NBCS and SCIL

Stephen Harris has presented at numerous conferences in the last decade. Key topics have included the role of technology in learning, strategies for shifting school leadership and pedagogy to a 21st century context; establishing an online and blended learning program and more recently on the importance of learning space design as being pivotal to school transformation. Stephen has been the Principal of Northern Beaches Christian School, Sydney, Australia since 1999 and in 2005 founded the Sydney Centre for Innovation in Learning (www.scil.com.au), a research and innovation unit within the school.

Claire Madden

Research Director, McCrindle Research

Claire has completed a B.A. Communications (Public Communications) at UTS and a MA Leadership at Southern Cross College. Claire has conducted research and consulting projects with the not-for-profit sector, and has eight years experience developing innovative programs to engage the emerging generations. Claire manages qualitative and quantitative research projects at McCrindle Research, and is a full member of the AMSRS.
